I hope you enjoy this third mini digital scrapbook, this time all about sheep. They are beautiful and intelligent animals that have been part of human life for thousands of years.
Feel free to use any of the images or information as inspiration for creating. And, please, share with me if you do. Or, enjoy the photos with a cup of tea.
There are over 1 billion sheep in the world, most are in China.

Sheep and goats were first domesticated about 10 000 years ago.

Sheep have very good senses of vision, hearing, and smell. Combined they help them spot predators.

Sheep and lambs feature in many world religions and mythologies.

Even though sheep have been subjects in cloning experiments (Megan and Morag, Dolly, and Polly and Molly), their genome hasn’t been sequenced.

No one really knows how many breeds of sheep currently exist, but the number is believed to be close to 1000.

Even though sheeps are usually considered to be stupid, in reality they are very smart animals. They have very good memories and problem-solving skills.
