Following the season is a big part of my family’s way of practising slow living. The rhythms of the year affect what we eat, what we do, how we dress, and even how we feel.

We note the wheel of the year and we eat in a seasonal way. Our lifestyle changes depending on the time of the year. And we try to connect with the natural world even if we live in an urban environment.

Growing food indoors: not all of us are lucky enough to have a garden or a field to grow our own food, but a lot of smaller plants can be grown indoors year-round.
